National Elementary Honor Society

 

The NEHS chapter at our school celebrates students who show strong academic achievement and demonstrate responsibility at school, at home, and in the community.

Students who are selected and inducted into NEHS take part in student-led activities that build leadership skills and help create a positive, achievement-focused school environment.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for NEHS, a student must:

• Be in 4th or 5th grade

• Have an average of 85% or higher in Math, ELA, and Writing over the two marking periods before selection

• Show responsibility, good attendance, and positive citizenship

At the end of the second marking period, academic records are reviewed. Students who meet the criteria receive an NEHS application. Students must complete and return the application by the deadline. Only student-completed applications will be reviewed.

Students selected for membership will be invited to the NEHS Induction Ceremony.
